Mom Amy learns to let go—she realizes the kids are growing up and she needs to focus on herself, too. The fifth season explores how life is changing for the entire family as the kids grow up. Matt and Amy start to explore new territory as their oldest children are ready to start their own lives. They are left with different ideas on how to fill their time and have to figure out what will be their next chapter in life. Meanwhile, as Molly settles into high school, Zach's poor grades and Jeremy's lack of direction leaves their future undecided. The Roloffs continue to make an impact off the farm as Matt returns to Iraq to try to help the family that was introduced last season as they come to America so their children can get the medical help they need. Amy's passions for sports lands her a new role as a Dwarf Athletic Association of America Board Member, where she takes on the planning of a major golf tournament fund-raiser.

The Roloff family returns with an all-new weekly series, following as Matt and Amy open and operate a new wedding venue on their recently expanded Oregon-based farm. Viewers will be invited along as the couple tackles one of their biggest challenges ever—working together to make other couple's dreams come true. When we last visited the Roloffs on their farm in Oregon, Matt and Amy announced their separation, leaving their kids—twins Jeremy and Zach, daughter Molly, and youngest son Jacob, wondering what was next for the family. The new season follows as everyone learns to adapt to these new dynamics and move forward with each of their lives. Despite the marital struggles of his parents, the premiere episode features Jeremy planning his proposal to his long-time girlfriend Audrey—kicking off a season-long celebration as they prepare to get married. As Matt and Amy Roloff embrace their four kids getting older and leading lives of their own, they attempt to live on the same property while managing emotional and operational challenges in order to keep Roloff Farms in the family. Much has changed since viewers first fell in love with the Roloffs 14 years ago and the family dynamic continues to evolve following Matt and Amy's divorce. After Matt partially buys out Amy's stake in Roloff Farms, she decides that living 500 feet from her ex-husband no longer suits her lifestyle and embarks upon a journey to find a new home, and by extension, a new life. But it's not just Amy whose life is transforming; right as Zach and Tori are getting the hang of being parents to son Jackson, they find out Tori is pregnant again.
